We recieve money from local parishes and the Diocese to cover expenses but it doen't cover our program expenses. Program expenses are weekly meals, retreats, costs to bring in speakers, books and printed matter, and taking trips. Also there is a Chaplains discretionary account to be used for student emergencies.

If you would like to donate here is an idea of what your donation will directly fund:

$180.00 Sunday home cooked dinner for 20-30 students. These meals are prepared by volunteers from local parishes and are high quality.

$200.00 Pays for a student to spend a weekend at a local monastery. These are wonderful weekends and allow an introduction to religious life and are a great chance for students to bond and share with one another their spirtual journeys.

$50.00 helps pay for books and other printed matter for our study courses.

These are just sample costs but we appreciate any support you might offer. Your donations should be sent to the Diocese of New York with NYU Campus Ministry in the subject line. We are trying to raise money for a TV for movies and other educational events. The target amount is 2000 for a large screen tv. If you can help please email the Chaplain.
