Sunday worship at 6pm is the principal service and the center of our life together. Services feature hymns, sung anthems by the choir and a brief sermon. Our services usually clock in around 45-50 minutes max.
Student participation is encouraged in every aspect of the service from reading, singing in the choir, helping to give communion to preaching. If you have any desire to do any of these things just see Rev. John Merz or music coordinator Rebbecca Saathof (always near the organ or piano) to share what you want to do. Worship services take place at the Ascension on the corner of 5th Avenue and 10th Street (the church with the big sign for students).
